Heat embossing never fails to empress.  It’s one of the first techniques we learn as papercrafters and the one we always come back to for a wow factor.

I get to meet with my stamping groups this week and I’ll be featuring the wonderful new stamp set, Sheltering Tree, for the cards we’ll make.  It was a real tough decision as to which stamp set to feature from the new Occasions Catalogue as there are SO many fun new sets!!!

This set lends itself to so many fun techniques too.  I used a faux watercolor technique here on the tree.  Basically I inked up each stamp and then spritzed with water before stamping.  It’s fast and easy 🙂
