The card challenge I issued my stamp club members for the month of January was to use ribbon on a card – and they really took this challenge and ran with it!  There were many wonderful cards made this month – thanks gals!

Remaining true to the theme, the prizes for the challenge is… more ribbon!

Stampin’Up! has given us some beautiful 3/8″ Pleased Satin Ribbon in the new Occasions Mini Catalogue – page 12.  It comes in 4 colors:  Pear Pizzazz, Riding Hood Red, Blushing Bride, and Baja Breeze – some of my favorite colors.  I wrapped up some of this Blushing Bride ribbon, placed it into a 1″ x 8″ cello bag (still available) and finished it off with a cute Valentine tag.

I wrapped up some Cherry Cobbler Dotted Scallop ribbon for my challenge winners this month – just in time for the holidays!  I hope the 4 lucky winners enjoy using it on their Christmas projects.

For cute presentation, I wrapped a large square scallop cut out around the ribbon and attached a simple tag with some baker’s twine.

In 1 hour, I will be off to Montana with my sister, Mikasa and our besties for some Black Friday crazy shopping.  Looking forward to it!!!

See you next week – if I survive the masses.

TTFN!

When I issued my challenge to use glitter on a card to all my stamp club members, they really took the challenge seriously!  Check out some of the cards that were brought to me:

There were many more amazing cards presented for the challenge, but these are the ones I was able to get photos of.  Everyone who made a card using glitter was entered into a draw for a prize.  I’ll be back on Thursday to show you what it was!

This year, I’m doing something a little different with my stamp clubs.

Every month, I offer them, Natasha’s Special Challenge.  If they undertake this challenge, they get their name entered into a draw for a prize.  For October, these are the prizes:

A mini set of Antique Brads!

How cute are these?  If I won this prize, I’m not sure I would use the brads – it’s that cute!

Packaged in our new 1″x 8″cello bags and tied with a simple tag, these brads get the royal treatment.  And so will my stamp club ladies IF they participated in this month’s challenge which was to create a card inspired by a piece of clothing.  At their stamp club meetings, they were told they could be inspired by a color combination, a pattern, an embellishment, or anything to do with a piece of clothing.

I can’t wait to see what they have come up with!  I also can’t wait to give out some prizes!!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Perfect Punches

Ink & Paper – Sahara Sand, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White

Accessories – Designer Label punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Modern Label punch, Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, 1″x 8″cello bags, 1/8″ hole punch, bakers twine

TTFN!
