Card “Create”tions Week 3 Blog Hop

By

HolidayCardHopWelcome

Welcome!!  You’ve probably just arrived from Connie Babbert’s blog as you travel through our Week 3 Blog Hop for the Holiday Card “Create”tions session!  What a GREAT session we had featuring nothing but CARDS – holiday cards to be exact – Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas card sets and they were all fabulous!

At the end of each week during this session, the designers are coming together in the form of a blog hop to showcase some fun products in the Holiday Catalogue for you!  Even though the Card “Create’tions session is offically over, it’s not too late to join in and view all the projects shared – just visit Create With Connie and Mary to sign up and view the card sets from week 1, 2 and 3!

This week, we are experimenting with the Petite Cafe Gift Bags featured on page 10 of the Holiday Catalogue and designing a Christmas project.  I just love how these bags are poly-lined so are food safe and the tie enclosure makes bagging treats fast and easy!!   They are packaged as 10 bags for $7.50 CAD.

As with each Saturday Blog Hop Challenge, the weekly Challenge is for everyone to see!  Here’s what I made this week:

Wondrous Wreath Cafe Bag

I used my favorite stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue and played with some softer colors to create a “door and wreath” feature on the front of the bag.  I also appreciate that there is a tag “To and From” image in this set as it makes gifting with these gift bags ooooooh so easy!!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Wondrous Wreath, Hardwood

Ink & Paper – Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz, Silver Foil

Accessories – Big Shot & Wonderful Wreath framelits, dimensionals, 1/8″ hole punch, bakers twine, Silver Dazzling Details, Stitched Satin ribbon

I hope my packaging idea has inspired you to give these useful little bags a try this Holiday season!

Now keep following the blog hop trail and visit the talented and inventive  Mary Brown!

  1. […] you are going forward through the hop you arrived here from Natasha Zandbergen’ blog Inking Out of the Box.  Isn’t it fun seeing all of the Cafe’ Gift Bags?  I know I’m getting some GREAT […]

  2. Love this done in blues!

  3. Sue Erickson says:

Your color combination for this bag is beautiful! I was hesitant to get this Wondrous Wreath set because I originally considered it only a Christmas set but have seen some wonderful interpretations of it for other seasons. Your interpretation could be used all year.

  4. Love how you used these color and stamps! A beautiful presentation!

  5. Pat Ropchan says:

Hi Natasha, I love the card but am resisting buying the stamp set since I haven’t even used the wreath stamp I bought last year. I will try to make the card using that one. I have, and love, the hardwood stamp.
