Basket of Pears

I saved my favorite card for last – last of the cards featuring Perfectly Preserved for this week.

I really wanted to have a large basket of fruit from this stamp set on my card.  After a few minutes of thinking and staring at my supplies, I thought of my scallop envelope die and knew I could make a basket out of that.  I cut one out of Early Espresso cardstock, cut off the sides and back, which left me with the front panel and scallop flap.  I cut each side at a diagonal and folded the flap over – voila! – a basket perfect for a cardfront!!

I finished off the basket with some of the great 7/8″cotton ribbon and ribbon slides in the Holiday Catalogue as well.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Perfectly Preserved

Ink & Paper – More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Orchard Harvest DSP, Lucky Limeade

Accessories – Big Shot & Polka Dots embossing folder, Frametlits Cannery Set, piercing tools, dimensionals

I hope you have enjoyed this week’s featured stamp set card samples!!
