What I’ve Been Up To This Week

I feel like I have lost a week of my life!  I have been down and out with the flu since Tuesday which means I did not get to do most of the things I wanted to this week. I swear I’m going to crack a rib with my coughing!!  I had, well still have, ambitious plans for a new blog project tutorial as well as details about a new Christmas Packaging Class I’m holding  later in November. So please check back soon as I hope to be feeling human by Monday.

My 17 year old daughter asked if she could hold a Halloween party this year and because it fell on a weekend this year, it seemed perfect timing – until I got sick!  I did still manage to make some fun treats for the party though.  This is ALL I accomplished this week:

caramel apples

S’more Caramel Apples!!!

They look just like the ones you can buy in West Edmonton Mall for $9!

This is a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting

Chocolate cupcakes (Martha Stewart recipe) with ganache and white chocolate webs

Focaccia  breadsticks made to look like bones served with pizza sauce
