Thinlit Cards for September

By

Thinlit Card Class-2

My girls started back at school this morning so that must mean that summer is officially over!!!  Say it isn’t so!!  The end of summer means making lunches everyday, alarm clocks, busy activity and sport schedules, and back to work!

But the end of summer also means stamp clubs are back!!! YAY!  I LOVE crafting with these ladies – we have a blast!

This month, my stamp club ladies get to work with the new Thinlit Circle Card Dies. I will be showing them 3 different card orientations that can be made with the die package.

This first card has a landscrape orientation rather than a portrait.  Mary Brown of StamperCamper.com has a great video on how to cut cardstock for this layout  here.

Here is a photo of it opened:

You can see I added a swinging arm to secure the card in its closed position and it moves out of the way to open the card.  Adding the swinging arm is shown on Mary’s video as well.

Supplies used:

Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, So Saffron, Marina Mist, Black Stazon, Polka Dot Parade DSP

Accessories – Big Shot & Circle Thinlit Dies, Bitty Banners Framelits, 2 1/2″ circle punch, scallop circle punches, 1 3/4″  circle punch, silver brad, dimensionals

TTFN!
