Sweet Cards

By

One of my hostesses this month chose the “Sweets for the Sweet” set to work with at stamp club.  I made up three VERY different samples (from each other) using this set.

Let’s take a closer look:

This first card was the favorite of the night – it think it’s the fun bright summery colors that did it.  You can’t tell in the photo, but the candies have some Dazzling Details on them that give the card that extra WOW factor.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Sweets for the Sweet

Ink & Paper – Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Marina Mist, black ink pad

Accessories – 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″ circle punches, dimensionals, grograin ribbon, Dazzling Details

I love the pinwheels in this set and the fun background you can create on a cardfront.  If I ever re-create this card again, I’ll use a thicker sentiment image on the front so it stands out a bit more.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Sweets for the Sweet, Happiest Birthday Wishes

Ink & Paper – Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Pool Party, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Peach Parfait, Lucky Limeade, Basic Black ink

Accessories – Big Shot & Dots embossing folder, 1 3/8″circle punch, dimensionals, silver brads

Fun in the Sun!
