One of my stamp club hostesses chose “Snow Swirled” as the featured set this month.  All that are in this club will get to make the following three cards:

This one uses one of my favorite color combinations:  Certainly Celery and Night of Navy – I love these colors together!!  I’ve simply embossed the tree image using Crystal Clear powder onto Whisper White cardstock and sponged ink over top – so easy yet stunning!

This card also uses Night of Navy but this time I coupled it with Bashful Blue and Marina Mist.

I made a template for my background by die cutting a Top Note from a piece of cardboard.  I thin placed this on top of the cardfront and sponge within the Top Note image using Bashful Blue ink; stamped a few snowflakes where desired and VOILA!

For this card, I changed the tree image into shiny, glittery ornaments!  Stamp tree image onto a scrap piece of cardstock; punch out using a 1 3/8″ circle punch and adhere to a scallop circle.  Add some ribbon and place them on a background of Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla and you get a beautiful Christmas card.

Stay tuned for more samplers this week – I still have to show you cards made with the stamp sets Aviary and Bells & Boughs.

TTFN!
