This week, to stay on task for an organized Christmas, let’s think about all the cooking and baking that will need to be done. Maybe you do a lot of cooking/baking or maybe just a little, but it all needs to be planned in advance. Here we go…
This week, take some time to list all the must-have baked goods you intend to have made this season. Use page 13 of the Organized Holiday Planner and don’t forget to write the source/cookbook the recipe is located. Then you may want to try some new recipes this year – write those down as well!
Once you see how many goodies you will be making, you’ll know how many baking days to schedule for yourself into your December calendar. This can be made into quite a fun task by inviting girlfriends or sisters to come spend the day baking with you! I know I already have 3 baking days with friends scheduled and I’m so looking forward to them! It’s that scheduled time with friends that I really enjoy each year!
Once the baking list is complete, use page 14 of the Christmas Holiday Planner to write out the grocery list of baking items needed. Don’t forget to inventory your pantry first as you may have some of the ingredients stocked and ready to go!
Okay – I’m off to start my list – see you tomorrow!
