It’s Valentine Week!

Banner Blast sample-1

I had a blast creating a few Valentine’s Day cards over the weekend and I’ll be sharing them here with you all week!

I made this one first because I really wanted to use my Hearts Collection framelits – they are VERY unused in my studio which is a crime!  They make WONDERFUL cards – this won’t be the last time you see them in use this week!  I also used my brand new Banner Blast stamp set and matching punch – items I got FREE with my order this month because of Sale-A-Bration!  Make sure you check out the Sale-A-Bration brochure below to see what YOU could earn FREE!

A few hints for you if you want to make one for yourself or something similar:

1.  I cut a small heart from a piece of Real Red cardstock and adhered that to the Coastal Cabana cardfront.

2.  I then cut a larger heart from a piece of Whisper White cardstock, run it through the Polka Dot embossing folder and then adhered it to the cardfront with dimensionals.

3.  I cut a piece of baker’s twine and used Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped and punched banners to the twine.  I picked the entire garland up and attached it to the cardfront with a dimensional in the heart cutout and then liquid glue on each side.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Banner Blast

Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Fresh Prints DSP

Accessories – Big Shot & Polka Dot embossing folder, Hearts Collection framelits, dimensionals, baker’s twine, banner punch, Pennant punch, rhinestone jewel
