Honeycomb folder club projects-1

You probably know by now that I have my hostess choose the stamp set to be featured during her stamp club month.  I love this because stamps sets are often chosen that stretch me creatively.  Plus, my hostess gets card ideas for her favorite stamp set.

But this month, one of my hostesses surprised me with a favorite embossing folder rather than a stamp set.  She requested cards made with the Honeycomb embossing folder – I was so happy!!  I was very pleased to provide her with a few ideas!!

I was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Peg Coombes to use the small bumble bee (or is it a fly?) on the card.  I then showed my group how to flatten the Pop Tops in the Big Shot to round the edges and make them “mailable”.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Collage Curios

Ink & Paper – So Saffron, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red

Accessoris – Big Shot & Honeycomb embossing folder, Apothecary Accents framelits, scallop circle punch, 1″ circle punch, lace trim

I’ll be back tomorrow with another honeycomb folder card.

TTFN!
