Happy Watercolor Card

Happy Watercolor set sampler-5

I love everything about this card.  Stampin’Up! has given us the most amazing products to work with this season!!!  All the gold products are SO fun and trendy!

A couple of notes for you if want to make this card yourself:

1.  To color the paper doily, ink a sponge and apply the ink to the back (rough) side of the doily – the ink will stay better.

2.  Use the rock n roll technique for the “watercolor” image on the highest flower.  First ink up image in Daffodil Delight and then roll the edges of the stamp slightly in Tangerine Tango ink.

3. And finally, to get a deeper watercolor look with the same image, ink stamp in desired color and then spritz with some water.  The effect is so awesome!!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Happy Watercolor

Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Watercolor Wonder DSP, gold paper, Basic Black

Accessories – corner rounder punch, gold baker’s twine, dimensionals, paper doily

Burlap and Blooms wreath project
