Faux Watercoloring

By

Sheltering Tree sample-1

I get to meet with my stamping groups this week and I’ll be featuring the wonderful new stamp set, Sheltering Tree, for the cards we’ll make.  It was a real tough decision as to which stamp set to feature from the new Occasions Catalogue as there are SO many fun new sets!!!

This set lends itself to so many fun techniques too.  I used a faux watercolor technique here on the tree.  Basically I inked up each stamp and then spritzed with water before stamping.  It’s fast and easy 🙂

Supplies used:

Stamps – Sheltering Tree

Papers and Ink – Early Espresso, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry

Accessories – baker’s twine

Be sure to check out the NEW Occasions Catalogue if you haven’t done so!!

TTFN!

  1. Gorgeous card! Glad to hear things are getting somewhat back to normal and you are finding time to stamp again! I start watching my 14 week old grand-daughter full-time starting this Wednesday until May when her mom is done teaching school. Will definitely be a change for me! Take care!
