Event Stamping Samples

Event Stamping Samples-1

Today’s post is going to be a bit long but as an explanation, it is an “interview” of sorts.

See, Stampin’Up! made a call-out to all demonstrators looking for those interested in submitting work to be displayed at events such as the annual convention, leadership & regional conferences.

I decided to submit some projects to be considered by Stampin’ Up!  I needed to make 3 cards, 2 3D projects and a scrapbook page.  I also decided to use one product suite and see how many different looks I could get from a “bundle” of matching products. Here goes:

Event Stamping Samples-5

Here’s the first card and it’s my favorite!!  I love the DSP behind the main element!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Tea Shoppe

Ink & Paper – Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky  Limeade, Tea for Two DSP, Early Espresso

Accessories – Island Indigo satin ribbon, Tea Time Trinket, pearl accents, flower trim, bird builder punch, Big Shot & Window Frames framelits

The idea for this card came to me as I looked at the Adorning Accents edgelits and realized that this one looked like a wooden shelf.  I added some woodgrain embossing and created a shelf for these cute little tea cups to sit on.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Tea Shoppe

Ink & Paper – Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Chocolate Chip, Lucky Limeade, So Saffron, Island Indigo

Accessories – Big Shot & Adorning Accents edgelit, Woodgrain embossing folder, Modern Label punch, dimensionals

The third card…

Supplies used:

Stamps – Tea Shoppe

Accessories – Big Shot & Honeycomb embossing folder, scallop trim edge punch, curly label punch, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, pearl accents, baker’s twine

The first of two 3D projects – a tea bag gift.  I used the Fancy Favor die and cut a box out of DSP.  I first punched an oval from the front panel and then folded it up and used a Window Frame framelit cut out to close it up.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Tea Shoppe

Ink & Paper – Tea for Two DSP, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Early Espresso

Accessories – Big Shot & Fancy Favor die, XL Oval punch, Window Frames framelit, Polka Dots embossing folder, oval and scallop oval punches, white taffeta ribbon, baker’s twine 1/8″ hole punch

And what would a box of tea bags be without some cookies?!  So I wrapped up some chocolate wafer cookies to go with it!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Tea Shoppe

Ink & Paper – Tea for Two DSP, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade

Accessories – scallop edge punch, paper doily, oval & scallop oval punches, 1 3/4″ circle punch, satin ribbon, dimensionals, gusset cello bag

And last but not least – the scrapbook page.  I based the page on one of my very favorite photos of all time.  As most of you know, my dad accompanied me to Florida in January when I attended the Stampin’Up! Leadership conference.  We had just the best time together – just dad and me!  This photo reminds me of the magic we experienced together visiting Disneyworld and spending a week together.  Thanks Dad!!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Loving Thoughts, Everything Eleanor

Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, So Saffron, Tea for Two DSP

Accessories – Designer Build a Brads, buttons, baker’s twine, 1 3/4″ circle punch, Delicate Details lace tape, toothpick

Wow!  Are you still with me?  🙂  Those are my submissions and I hope you have been inspired by something here today.

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!  TTFN!
