CWCM Holiday Collection Week 1 Blog Hop

By

Week 1 of the Create with Connie & Mary Holiday Collection is almost complete and as usual, the designers are finishing up with a blog hop!

If you would like to join us for the entire four weeks of the Holiday Collection and all the tutorials that come with it, it’s not too late!  Visit Create With Connie and Mary today and join us!

BlogHopHoliday2014Welcome

You’ve probably just arrived from Connie Babbert’s blog after viewing her Holiday inspiration!  She’s pretty awesome, isn’t she?!

I’ve had much fun with the Festival of Trees stamp set this week so couldn’t resist using it for my challenge project as well!

Festival of Trees sample-6

I was dying to try my new Confetti Stars punch and am quite happy with it as an angle punch on this card!  This led me to a non traditional color combination of Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz and Rose Red.  Not all Christmas cards need to be red and green, right?! 🙂

Supplies used:

Stamps – Festival of Trees

Ink & Paper – Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red

Accessories – Big Shot & filigree frame embossing folder, Confetti Stars punch, dimsnional

Now you’re off to visit designer Bronwyn Eastley – I know I’m excited to see what she has for us today!

Love your stars punched on an angle in the corner of your card. A lovely design with the background embossed frame. Great to be on the ‘hop’ with you.

  5. How clever to punch the stars on an angle – love that look! The non-traditional colors for the Holidays are lovely!
