Countryside Set Sampler

By

My hostess for this week’s stamp club, Deborah, asked me to feature the stamp set Countryside in the Stampin’Up! Idea Book and Catalogue.  She mentioned that she really needs some masculine cards to put in her card box – here you go Deborah, hope you like!

When thinking about masculine, I automatically think of my husband, Chris.  He screams masculine – so much in fact, he won’t even HOLD my purse for any reason.  This card is dedicated him and his favorite color orange – he’s a Dutch man through and through.  In fact, this may become his Father’s Day card, so don’t give him a heads up, okay?

Check out all these manly textures on this card:

Supplies used:

Stamp set – Countryside

Paper and Ink – Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla

Accessories – Big Shot and Square Lattice embossing folder, 1 1/4″ stripped grograin ribbon, clip, linen thread and dimensionals

The images in this set are just waiting to be watercoloured.  I took the color combination from the Play Date Designer Series Paper pack – love it!

Stamps – Country Side, On Your Birthday

Paper and Ink – Real Red, So Saffron, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise, Crumb Cake and Stazon black ink

Accessories – jumbo brad

I really quite  like the layout for this card – it came together in a snap too.

Stamps – Countryside, On Your Birthday

Paper and Ink – Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Elegant Soiree DSP

Accessories – corner rounder punch, linen thread, dimensionals, curly label punch, spiral punch

TTFN!
