Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Class 2013 WOW project

These Tag a Bag Gift Boxes from Stampin’Up! are really worth a shout out.  Measuring 6 7/8″ x 2 1/8″ x 2 1/2″, they are large enough for a least a dozen cookies, socks, candles, etc. etc.  Each box has a sturdy cardboard shell with a strong acetate sleeve.  For about $1 each, they are really a great bargain for wrapping some of your gifts this year.

This particular box I’ve jazzed up, is the WOW project at my 10th Annual Christmas Card Class this year.  I used strips of 1 1/2″ strips of Real Red cardstock to create the bow and the DSP wrap is 3″.  To make the tag, I used a Tag a Bag tag as a template and traced it onto some Real Red DSP and went from there.  I finished it off with a Simply Styled Embellishment clip from the Holiday Catalogue.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Christmas Messages

Ink & Paper – Real Red, Whisper White, Old Olive, Brights DSP pack, Basic Black ink, Season of Style DSP

Accessories – Tag a Bag box, baker’s twine, 1/8″hole punch, large oval punch, Big Shot & Chalk Talk framelits, dimensionals, Simply Styled Embellishment
