The hostess for stamp club tonight didn’t really have an opinion on which stamp set she wanted to work with, but she sure had a color in mind!

I was asked to create fun girly projects using the color PURPLE!

Do you realize how many shades of purple Stampin’Up! offers???  It was a fun challenge to use them all!  Lets take a closer look at all this purple:

I teamed the new In Color, Wisteria Wonder with an older In Color, Concord Crush

Supplies used:

Stamps – Oval All

Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, Vellum cardstock

Accessories – a whole lotta Big Shot!  & stripes embossing folder, Flower Garden folder, Beautiful Wings embosslit, large & scallop oval punches, dimensionals, organza ribbon

My favorite card of the night and another purple combo – Perfect Plum & Elegant Eggplant

Supplies used:

Stamps – Bordering on Romance, Petit Pairs

Ink & Paper – Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Subtles DSP pack

Accessories – Big Shot & Adorning Accents Edgelits, Dots embossing folder, circle and scallop circle punches, dimensionals, pearl accents, blender pens

This card is a replica of one I received from my Leadership roommate Connie Collins at Constantly Stamping.  I love looking at the one she made in Island Indigo, but decided to try a Rich Razzleberry finish just for my hostess- pretty cute!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Fresh Vintage, Apothecary Art

Ink & Paper – Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Brights DSP pack (Daffodil Delight)

Accessories – Big Shot & Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Blossoms punch, Scallop circle punch, Build A Blossom punch, Boho Blossoms punch, jumbo pearls, dimensionals

Later this month, I’m holding a stamp class with 5 projects that use products from the current Occasions Mini Catalogue.  Each day this week, I will highlight one of the projects and give a few details.  Enjoy!!

Project 1:

This card was inspired by a project I saw in our demo-only Stampin’Success magazine.  I made a few changes to the original and am happy with the result.

Here is a closer loo at the stamped flowers – if you can’t tell by the photo, they are sparkly!

Supplies used:

Stamps – Bordering on Romance, Loving Thoughts

Ink & Paper – Rose Red, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Stazon Black

Accessories – Big Shot and Adorning Accents Edgelits die, Rose Red seam binding, pearl accents, Dazzling Details
