The hostess for stamp club tonight didn’t really have an opinion on which stamp set she wanted to work with, but she sure had a color in mind!
I was asked to create fun girly projects using the color PURPLE!
Do you realize how many shades of purple Stampin’Up! offers??? It was a fun challenge to use them all! Lets take a closer look at all this purple:
I teamed the new In Color, Wisteria Wonder with an older In Color, Concord Crush
Supplies used:
Stamps – Oval All
Ink & Paper – Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, Vellum cardstock
Accessories – a whole lotta Big Shot! & stripes embossing folder, Flower Garden folder, Beautiful Wings embosslit, large & scallop oval punches, dimensionals, organza ribbon
My favorite card of the night and another purple combo – Perfect Plum & Elegant Eggplant

This card is a replica of one I received from my Leadership roommate Connie Collins at Constantly Stamping. I love looking at the one she made in Island Indigo, but decided to try a Rich Razzleberry finish just for my hostess- pretty cute!

Circle Circus – Day 3

This project uses Circle Circus images to create a tone-on-tone background – with a few circles highlighted for dimension.

Ink & Paper – Marina Mist, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Versamark ink, Chocolate Chip ink
Accessories – Big Shot & Scallop circle #2 die, 1″, 1 1/4″ & 2 1/2″ circle punch, 1 1/4″ square punch, clear embossing powder, heat tool, piercing tools, dimensionals, pearl accents
Well, those are my cards for the week using Circle Circus. My goal was to use this older stamp set with some updated features – hope I accomplished that!

Circle Circus – Day 2

This is quite a fun card – perfect for almost any sentiment or occasion stamp – as long as it fits in the word window punch!

Doily Set Samples

Last week I met with one of my stamp clubs and we made these 3 cards using the 2 doily stamp sets: Hello, Doily! and Delicate Doilies. Being the extremely busy month that it is, I am very grateful for the demo only website, Stampín’ Connections for all the inspiration found there, in helping me pull these cards together!
Remember those Paint with Water books we had as children? I loved giving those to my girls when they were young! The tea cup on this card was colored using the same method – water! I stamped the image on white cardstock using Island Indigo ink and then used my AquaPainter to smear the ink to “color”it in. This will of course work with any color! I also added some Dazzling Details to the pattern around the cup for some bling.
