Flower Fest Projects

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Stamp Clubs are starting up for a new season again this week – thank goodness!  I loved my summer break but I sure missed visiting and stamping with my club friends!!

My gals that meet this Friday will be making these happy cards.  My hostess chose Flower Fest and the Beyond the Garden DSP to be featured.  A good choice to help us hold on to summer a bit longer here up north…

Pretty basic but cheerful card!  Love the punched border!

Supplies used:

Stamps – On Your Birthday, Flower Fest

Ink and Paper – Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Beyond the Garden DSP

Accessories – White Organza ribbon, rhinestone jewels, Blossoms Bouquet Triple Layer punch, dimensionals

I love that you can (and should) layer this flower image in this stamp set.

Supplies used:

Stamps – Word Play, Flower Fest

Ink and Paper – Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Beyond the Garden DSP

Accessories – Big Shot and Framed Tulips embossing folder, Tasteful Trim die, dimensionals

This one is a direct CASE of Anne Marie Hile’s of Stampin’Anne.  Her card can be found here.  Her card is perfect in everyway so I didn’t need to change a single thing except I used a different sentiment.

Supplies Used:

Stamps – Flower Fest, Petit Pairs

Ink and Paper – Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze, Peach Parfait, So Saffron, Just Add Cake DSP, Whisper White

Accessories – Big Shot, small dots embossing plate & Flower Garden embossing folder, Scallop Edge punch, butterfly punch, 1 3/8″ and 1 1/4″ circle punches, rhinestone jewels

Hope you enjoy!  TTFN!

Herb Expressions Set Sampler

Posted by: | Comments (2)

My stamp clubs that are getting together tonight and Friday, are making these lovelies.  Three cards with a summer feel to them, to match the sunshine outside…finally!

This is direct CASE from the brilliant Lisa Young at Add Ink and Stamp.  I didn’t change one thing (except the color) about this card as you can tell by the original here – why mess with perfection!

Supplies used:

stamps – Herb Expressions

paper and ink – whisper white, Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry, Pawsativitely Prints DSP, stazon black ink

accessories – scallop edge punch, Lots of Tags Sizzlits and Big Shot, organza ribbon, rhinestone brad, small and wide oval punches

Supplies used:

stamps – Herb Expressions

paper and ink – Whisper White, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, stazon ink black

accessories – Elegant Lines embossing folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslit and Big Shot, stitched-poly ribbon in Concord Crush, rhinestone jewels

I wanted to make sure to work in the great new technique, inlaid embossing, for my stamp club projects this month.  Not sure who or where it originated from, but it awesome!  I also like the beautiful sentiments that come with this stamp set and wanted to make sure to highlight one of them on a card – love how this turned out!

Supplies used:

stamps – Herb Expressions

paper and ink – Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, basic black marker

accessories – square lattice embossing folder and Big Shot, Blossoms Bouquet Triple Layer punch, crystal effects and dazzling diamonds glitter, dimensionals

TTFN!
