Last week I met with one of my stamp clubs and we made these 3 cards using the 2 doily stamp sets:  Hello, Doily! and Delicate Doilies.  Being the extremely busy month that it is, I am very grateful for the demo only website, Stampín’ Connections for all the inspiration found there, in helping me pull these cards together!

Remember those Paint with Water books we had as children?  I loved giving those to my girls when they were young!  The tea cup on this card was colored using the same method – water! I stamped the image on white cardstock using Island Indigo ink and then used my AquaPainter to smear the ink to “color”it in.  This will of course work with any color!  I also added some Dazzling Details to the pattern around the cup for some bling.

Tonight my stamp club ladies are making these fun projects all made with the Pennant Parade stamp set and matching builder punch.

This first one you’ve seen before.  We made it at my new catalogue open house and it was so cute, I’m using it again!  The details on this card are here.

This one was inspired by Mary Fish of Stampin’Pretty fame.  I love her linear clean designs and find myself CASeing her often.  Her original version is here.

So, a few weeks ago, I posted a bunch of samples using this Button Buddies set.  You can see them here, here and here.

Then my hostess for this Wednesday’s stamp club chose Button Buddies as the set to be featured…so I wanted to create all new samples!

So here are a few more:

The colors are showing up wonky in this photo for some reason.  It’s much cuter in real life…sorry!  The purple color is actually Perfect Plum and in the photo it looks more like Elegant Eggplant and the pig’s nose is not that bright!!

This is a pretty straight forward layout but with the black, red and white color combination, I didn’t want anything els competing for attention.  Now the cherries and sentiment can really stand out.  I added Crystal Effects to the “buttons” to make them more realistic and to add some bling.

I am meeting with another of my stamp clubs tonight and we will be experiementing with the “Sweets for the Sweet” stamp set. 

This first card has quite a few textures going on:  embossing, glitter, 3D stick, satin ribbon and popped up images – lots of fun!

This card was inspired by the cutest shirt my 3 year old niece was wearing on the weekend.  It featured glittery candy lollypops in yummy pastel colors and ruffled white sleeve ends – I put all of it on this card!

Stamp Clubs are starting up for a new season again this week – thank goodness!  I loved my summer break but I sure missed visiting and stamping with my club friends!!

My gals that meet this Friday will be making these happy cards.  My hostess chose Flower Fest and the Beyond the Garden DSP to be featured.  A good choice to help us hold on to summer a bit longer here up north…

These are the 3 cards we are making tonight at stamp club.

My hostess for the evening asked me to showcase some wedding card samples and I thought the Sale-A-Bration set Bliss, was the perfect choice!

I wish we had time to make 6 cards instead of 3 tonight because there are some beautiful cards out there using this set – it was hard to narrow down my ideas for this set!

I used some inspiration from Cindy Beach for this card – I love the reverse masking technique she used here and I loved showcasing the new Fun Flowers die in the Occasions Mini Catalogue.

This is another classic layout with a very special color combination.  My daughter, Chalisse, who is getting married in July, has chosen these as her wedding colors so I just had to experiment with them this week.

One of my stamp club hostesses chose this adorable stamp set as her choice this month!  Naturally we couldn’t just make 3 cards with it – we had to make packages for some chocolate!!

This package is made with the petal-cone die and Big Shot – love it!!  Colors are Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze and uses the Elegant Soriee DSP.  Some accessories I used to jazz it up a bit are satin ribbon, Sweet Buttons and Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslits.
