Chic Boutique Sampler
Posted by: | CommentsSo, I have decided to “makeover” my stamp club format a bit starting this fall. Instead of highlighting a stamping technique each month, I am going to be highlighting a stamp set and coordinating products…
… but here is the exciting part…
…the hostess of each month gets to choose which stamp set I highlight!
Here is a sample of a stamp set and three very different cards created with that set:

End of the Season Stamp Club Gifts
Posted by: | CommentsI’m sure you know by now, one of my favorite things to do, is give little thank-you gifts to my customers when they attend classes and such. Well, every year I like to also give my stamp club members a little “thanks for joining stamp club” gift. This year I am handing out these little cuties:
I’m showing you these treat holders empty – I don’t want to spoil the whole surprise for my club members! You’ll just have to wait to see what I put in these babies.
These little holders are from Becky Roberts at InkingIdaho. They are part of her 12 Days of Christmas 2009 Edition Tutorial.
WHAT ARE THESE GOING TO BE???
I have spent many an hour the last few days tracing patterns, cutting out and scoring about 33 pieces to make something really fun for my year-end piano recital on June 24th. I can’t wait til it is finished so I can show it to you!
Can you guess what these pieces will end up as???

June Stamp Club Projects
Posted by: | CommentsThe technique I will be showing to my stamp club members in June is the Herringbone technique. Herringbone refers to a quilting technique that we are mimicking with designer serier paper.
Boy oh boy! If I had my new catalogue preordered materials here all ready, this card would be embellished so differently! Maybe when my box comes, I’ll redo this card so you can see what it looks like in my head.
I can’t wait to show you some fun new products in the catalogue!! My box of goodies should be here by Friday – I must exercise patience!!! Here’s the next club Herringbone project:
I’m excited to get together with all of my clubs next week!

I’ve Got a Green Thumb
Posted by: | CommentsI promised yesterday I would share with you the cards I’m making for the “end-of-the-season” stamp club card swaps. Card swaps at the end of the club season is something I always look forward to. It’s so much fun to see everyone’s personalities come out in the cards they create for swapping. Does my personality come out with the one I created?
I took inspiration from Annette Stewart over at Ink, Paper, Scissors Rock! I loved the background she created so just changed up the layout a bit. Why mess with perfection I say!
In creating 16 of these backgrounds, I have quite the green thumb – it may take a couple of days and many washings to get the Old Olive ink out of my fingers!
