Season of Joy Set Sampler

Posted by: | Comments (1)

One of my hostesses chose Season of Joy as the stamp set to be featured at stamp club tomorrow.  I’ve had this stamp set for a few years now and have used it often, but here is what I came up with this week:

Pretty simple card using a color combo idea from my new Color Coach:  Not Quite Navy, Sahara Sand and Poppy Parade

I love using my markers on this sentiment stamp to highlight different phrases.  I used the colors that coordinate with the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper pack – Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla

This Criss-Cross card is pretty fun and if you are looking for directions on how to make one for yourself, check out this tutorial on SplitCoastStampers.com.

I used Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper and the coordinating colors, which are:  Baja Breeze, Real Red, Garden Green and Whisper White.

Joy Fold Cards – March Club Projects

Posted by: | Comments (0)

These are the two projects we will be making at stamp club during the month of March:

I love the way this turned out!!  Maybe it’s the butterflies – I love everything that is created with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit!  The butterfly accent and dot, dot, dot stamps are perfect for the “kissing” technique popular a couple of years ago.  It’s always good to re-visit a great technique.

Supplies Used:

Stamps – Butterfly Accent, Dot, Dot, Dot, Whimsical Words

Paper & Ink – Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Old Olive,  Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP

Accessories – piercing tool and matt pack, 1″ & 1 1/4″ circle punches, scallop circle punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder & Big Shot, dimensionals, silver brad

This second card is a fun but elegant card for the happy couple:

Supplies Used:

Stamps – Baroque Motifs, Heard from the Heart

Paper & Ink – Basic Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red

Accessories – Scallop trim border punch, texturz plates, Heart of Hearts Embosslit & Big Shot, Real Red grograin ribbon, Full Heart punch, dimensionals

Recessed Window Projects

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I’m so excited to show off the projects we will be making at my stamp clubs in February!  I had originally booked marked this technique for demonstration in April but wanted to try the technique yesterday and after making these two projects, we are movin’ this technique up!!

I love everything about this card!  How easy is the Beautiful Wings Embosslit to work with???!!!  Cut a few butterflies with the Big Shot and they just bring life to everything you put them on!

I also wanted to demonstrate the new Scallop Trim Corner Punch for those who have it on their wishlists or have purchased it already.  As you can see, it makes a beautiful frame, but also takes a bit of know-how and there are a few “rules” to follow – I want my customers to be as happy with the product as I am!

We don’t often make boxes at stamp club but I’m making an exception this month.  This technique lends itself so well to a box lid…don’t you agree?

I can’t wait to meet with all my clubs next month!  See you soon ladies!

Supplies used:

Cardstock and Ink – So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Sweet Pea DSP, Whisper White, Old Olive, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Thoroughly Modern DSP, Sahara Sand

Stamp Sets – Vintage Labels, With all my Heart

Accessories – Scallop Trim border and corner punches, Ticket Corner punch, Lots of Tags die, Big Shot, Eyelet border punch, Beautiful Wings embosslit, wide oval punch

TTFN!
