Posted by: | CommentsWhat a fabulous open house yesterday! I enjoyed seeing you all and sharing the excitement of the new products in the 2010/2011 catalogue with you. A very special thanks to Doris, the newest member of my downline, for all the assistance she gave me in getting ready for this day – I couldn’t have done it without you!!
I know I promised photos of the open house but it was so busy here, I never got a chance to take 1 photo! But, I do have photos of all new samples to share with you over the next week so check back often for new stuff!
For today, here is a new home decor piece that I presented at the open house as a class project this summer:

COST: $30 – includes 1 package of YOUR CHOICE of new Designer Series Paper (to take home with you) plus all other supplies to complete the project
Yes, you get to choose the color palette of this project – choose the DSP pack and base color you like best for your home!
RSVP: by August 3rd, 2010 Open House guests received first take on spots for this class and half the spaces are already taken, so contact me soon to join in on the fun!

Open House Make n’ Take

My new catalogue open house is tomorrow and I’m so excited to show off some of the wonderful new products Stampin’ Up! has to offer! Guests will have the opportunity to pick up the new catalogue and make tabs for each section, browse through my garage sale of retired items, view examples of summer class projects, and of course, make this card. Here is the inside:
Isn’t this the cutest stamp set with matching wheel? They both caught my eye right away when flipping through the new catalogue for the first time.
Supplies used:
stamps – Baby Bundle, Baby Tees wheel
cardstock & inks – Basic Gray, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz
accessories – eyelet border punch, round tab punch, 1 3/4″ circle punch, 2 3/8″ scallop circle punch, Daffodil Delight 1/8″ taffeta ribbon, piercing tools, dimensionals
I’ll post photos of the open house later this week along with some more new product card samples I’ve been making this week. Can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

New Catalogue Excitement
Posted by: | CommentsJuly is the most exciting time of year for stampers – the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue is released so we have bunches of new product to oogle over.
Let’s get ready…
Here’s a sneak peak at some new colors and DSP.
This card is made with Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip and Marina Mist, with the flower made from Pumpkin Pie and Real Red and of course the Sizzix daisies #2 die. The DSP is a beautiful new pack called Greenhouse Gala. The ribbon is also a new offering this catalogue and is 1/8″ taffeta in Daffodil Delight. I know that the corduroy buttons are being discountinued, but I just had to use them one more time!
