Catalogue Inspiration #4

Here is the card I made this past weekend which was inspired by another catalogue sample.  My version will be one guests will make at the Christmas Card Class coming up next weekend!

Good Cheer

My card was inspired by this catalogue sample on page 23:

Catalogue sample 15-10-09

My eyes have been attracted to this sample since my first flip through the catalogue back in June.  Since the very beginning, I have pictured in my head using the wide 1 1/4″ striped ribbon in place of the Old Olive piece.  I quite like how it turned out!  I’m not sure if you can tell by my photo but I did use Crystal Effects on the holly berries.

Supplies Used:

Stamps – Good Cheer set, poinsettia from Season of Joy set

Carstock – Baroque Burgundy, Old Olive, Garden Green, Very Vanilla

Ink – Baroque Burgundy, Old Olive, Garden Green, Stazon Black

Accessories – Build a Brad, Stampin’ Pastels, 1/2″ circle punch, 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Old Olive, Crystal Effects, dimensionals

I’m already working on next week’s catalogue inspiration and I can’t wait to show it to you!!
