Back from Oblivion…
ByI went on a completely wonderful camping trip at the beginning of the month for a week, but I think a good part of me stayed there.
After the busy-ness of the wedding in July, I needed to just sit and do absolutely nothing. Task 1 – accomplished!! It felt so good to sit by the fire (or the pool) everyday and just read a book. We were treated royally by mother nature – the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!
But then I came home and needed to get busy creating for the fall. Task 2 – not even started!
I continued to sit – on my porch, couch, or curled up on my bed – reading! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting mentally lost in 3 novels in 2 weeks! I think my body needed more than a week for rejuvination, so I allowed it to dictate my actions for another week.
Today I’m feeling like I can get off my duff now and accomplish something…finally…
…and the first thing I did is stamp something:
I really felt like paper piecing an image so chose this adorable pram from the Baby Bundle stamp set and made a baby card. I also chose my favorite color combo of Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. All in all – I’m pretty happy with my first stamped project in 4 weeks.
It’s good to be back…
TTFN!
