You may or may not have noticed my absence from blogging last week but there were a few distractions around here.

First, a bit early, this happened…

Ryker newborn photo

My daughter and her husband had another precious baby boy on March 3rd!  They live 3 hours away so when Chalisse called to let me know it was TIME, I quickly packed a bag and LEFT!  They have named him Ryker and he is pretty perfect!

She ended up having  a C-section because of baby Ryker trying to come out feet first so I stayed the week to help out around the house and watch their older son during the hospital stay.

I did have to be back home on March 8th though.  Why?  It was our 25th wedding anniversary!!!

My wonderful husband Chris got us tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert that night AND the tickets included entrance to an intimate meet and greet with the group with a special acoustic performance!  It was amazing!!!

I did not come home from my daughter’s home empty handed though…

Kelton lounging

I brought home my sweet 20 month old grandson, Kelton with me!!  There’s no way Chalisse could have kept up with him during her recovery, so I offered to take him for the week.  He’s darn cute and entertaining but I seriously got nothing accomplished last week!  LOL  He is one busy little boy!

Sadly our little visitor went home last night.  I now get to play catch up on business!

Here is one of the cards that was scheduled for posting last week:
